Street Noise Orchestra
StreetNoiseOrchestra (SNO) is the most popular activist street band in Innsbruck and its environs. Since its beginning in 2014 SNO has taken root in the subcultural and alternativ scenes according to the motto: „Jede_r darf draußen Lärm machen – wir beleben die Stadt und bringen den Groove auf die Straße“ (everybody has the right to make noise, we animate the city and take the groove to the streets). With their good mood and energizing music they enrich all kinds of social-political events ever since.
Christine Abdel-Halim is a singer-songwriter and occasional cabaret artist. She sings songs that have remained in her drawers for years, event decades, that are sometimes melancholic or philosophical, sometimes humorous and sassy.
Noor Khoury began her musical career in Damascus, Syria. As a singer and guitarist she gave concerts in various constellations. Noor has lived in Austria for three years and performs on her guitar and cajon with sometimes Arabic, sometimes French vocals. Together with the band Basalt she recorded the song „Small House“ with Conchita Wurst for the project New European Songbook.
